Last Sunday, I went for one the most amazing condominiums at Newton for a house party.. but I forgot to bring my camera. Drats. Of all days!!

4 swimming pools, one of which is even longer than an Olympic size pool..
Amazing indoor furo bath, 24-hour concierge service, outdoor spa pavilions... ...
And with the 6,000 sq ft outdoor children's playground... it's gotta be every kid's dream!

Leo Foo Village Theme Park.. quite disappointing actually.

Genting was more thrilling, more fun. The rides at Leo Foo didn't have much suspense.. so they weren't as scary as they seem... except for ONE ride. The 'Screaming Condor' totally caught us off guard! And that was the FIRST ride we took when we got there. So maybe that's the reason the other rides there weren't scary enough for us.

Bumming around everyday has made me lose track of the day, date and time. I'm still living in March and thought that my trip's in May. Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday doesn't seem to make sense anymore. I count down to my off days and special outings, and I only look forward to 11pm of every work day(night).

I'm supposed to thread my brows on Sunday but my itchy hands had to pick up the blade. Now my brows are horribly shaved (cuz I was rushing out) and my brows refuse to grow out. I tahan-ed with the bush above my eyes for so long.. why couldn't I hold out for just a few more days?! Itchy fingers, itchy fingers!! GAHHH!!!

Things I have yet to do:
- Pack my room
- Pack my bag
- Remove (what's left of) my nail polish
- Lose weight so I'll be able to pig out during my 10-day trip
- Make a visit to Dr Chan
- Apply for Uni(s)

Oh dear, my last post was a month ago! This is prolly the longest time I've been away from blogging. Didn't seem that long though.. I've just been too caught up with fashion blogs to update my own blog.

During the initial stage of my lack of appearance online, I received alot of "What happened to you?!" Don't worry, I haven't disappeared or eloped with my lover. I'm alive! *waves frantically*
No secret rendezvous, nothing. Boring life since break started, thus the lack of updates. Only occasional meet-ups with the groupmates/Ed&Sher/SY&YX/JS/DFS peeps. The happy ones are my parents and my overgrown puppy, cuz I'm always around the house.

Mr J & I seem to be on opposite schedules. Friday he's off for his diving trip, and will be back Sunday night. Monday I'll be going away. Oh yes, I'll be going away! I've waited long enough! WOOHOOO~

I finally got to see my baby girl a few nights ago. She got me that perfume from Japan :) We were lepaking at her place, then at two in the morning, we decided to have prata. At three, Vivien thought that we should go for a massage to pamper ourselves, and we did. And at four, we found ourselves in a shopping mall using the ATM and sneaking into the male toilet cuz, for some reason the female toilet was locked.

Spark has been in a cast for the past 2 weeks (and hasn't had a proper bath since), and will be for another 6 weeks or so. So I have to live with a smelly dog for now. As much as I love him, he sure doesn't smell anything like flowers. =s

I had such a great time today, thanks to my wonderful group mates. I've worked with you guys for 3 semesters now, excluding Pat (2 semesters, not too far off). I think we really bonded this semester. I NEVER thought I'd be this close to you guys. We used to only talk about school and projects, and we didn't use to hang out after school. heh. See how much we've progressed? From projects to teasing each other, Disney princesses (haha yes) to online shopping, makan sessions to guys. =D

Today, we finally got a chance to let our hair down. We went for Karaoke and had seafood dinner. Hanging out around the neighbourhood, we were talking and this song, Graduation (Friends Forever) by Vitamin C, came up. I suddenly felt sad. We've had our last project meeting, our last presentation, our last projects submitted. It dawned on me how soon it's coming to an end. I can't imagine doing projects without you guys.

Chao Hoe's back, once again

The Chao was here. But he left as soon as he came - he's back in Batu Pahat. Speaking of Batu Pahat, I haven't posted the pictures of my trip there! Soon, soon.

The past two nights were great. He came looking like a girl, more girly than me, long curly hair and all (sans boobs). But, thank goodness, he left looking more like a man. We took some time off from our fun to get his hair done.

December, the month for some hardcore partying. Thing is, my mom doesn't seem to agree with me, and I've been receiving calls from her at 5 every morning. Not good. haha.

Christmas Eve - Converse sales with E. Power packed dinner at Uncle John's, then Cal & gang picked me up. SOMETHING HAPPENED (LOL)... We headed to Boat Quay, and they started singing emo Chinese songs on the bridge.

Christmas Day - Ed's church @ Meritus Mandarin. Then we went over to Mary's for second round of lunch. Non-stop eating, to be exact. The rest left for Mahjong session and the 3 M's sat outside the house chit-chatting. My leggings split.. that's so Eddee! heh.

Boxing Day - Something white and fluffy! heh!

Drinking with J. The poor boy was working on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day as well as Boxing Day. We spent the night listening to really good house music. I don't know many people who enjoy house, so now I've got a kaki. He's got a good collection of them. heh.

Last night - First time working with Michelle T. We hit off so well we decided to partaye straight after work. We managed to pull a few other colleagues and friends to join us for some crazy fun at The Arena. Kenneth and gang was there, as usual. And I managed to catch up with former Chai Chee-ian, Tommy. Apparently I was almost angelic back then, nerdy specs and all. heh.

It's the last day of our hols :(

It's the last day of attachment at Lizard Storm. Three months of attachment is finally over. Am I supposed to be happy? I'll miss LS and the people here. I don't wanna go back to school.

Two days ago I've started bringing my stuff home. The office has become my second home in the past three months. Slippers, hoodie, facial cleanser, documents have been lugged back home. Now it's left with me, myself and my heavy heart.

The events I've attended in the 3 months have taught me a great deal and tonight's the last event - Versace. woots~ After this weekend, it's back to school. What if I walk to the wrong busstop and get on the bus to Bugis, instead of school on Monday?

I'll miss the mad rush as we prepare for events. I'll miss sitting in the office doing nothing all day. I'll miss Ida, Vas, Irene, Liz and Angela. I'll miss Chelsey and Mariah and Trishna's company - they come down to the office everyday and keep us company as we d nothing all day. I'll miss reading the Twilight series of books during work. I'll miss the big, comfy armchair. I'll even miss the creepy lizards (fake la) that can be found hiding around the office :S

I've collected my UrbanOg shoes and it fits! AND IT'S GORGEOUS!! I was so afraid it won't fit! And you know what people say.. never buy shoes online!, you won't know it's it's comfy! The shoes were too irresistible, plus the fact that Carol & Fei were tempting me, so I got it anyway. What the heck. One pair to "try out", and I want MOREEE!

After our event, we have nothing much to do back in the office. Chelsey has been coming around every day the past week to keep us company. We help around the office calling for courier service and doing a few simple tasks. The rest of the day is spent lepaking, surfing facebook, talking nonsense, listening to music, BUBBLE WRAP and today Nick & I got hooked on 'Around the world in 80 days'.

Today, a busy busy day. Got to be my boss' PA for the Jewellery Time 2008 by Cortina Watch. We're handling the overseas media for this event so I have to liaise with a few other parties and make sure the media are at the right place, at the right time.

First was the press conference at Paragon, and I must say that the set up looks AMAZING! It's ALL made out of glass and the watches are sooooo BLING. And a watch that costs more than 3 million euro. Absolutely stunning! Michelle Cheong was the emcee, not a very good one I feel. She's couldn't pronounce the watch brands and people's names properly. Then the appearance of celebrities Michelle Reis and Leon Lai. Michelle Reis' realllyyyy pretty real life.

After that, Angela (boss) and I went back to the Jewel Pavilion (across the road) for a short rest and get dressed up for the official opening cocktail party. yada yada... handsome and gorgeous models, even more handsome guys, socialites, more celebrities... ... and the highlight of the night?

I got to know a cute violinist! *SCREAMMMMMM* He's damn goood la can?!

I missed the Soo Kee/Wykidd show at the Jewel Pavilion tonight, but Nic says it isn't as good as other shows.. so I guess I dodn't miss much. The Autumn/Winter show last night was really good though. The dresses the models had on were all very nice, complimented by the jewels.

Here I am at work, nursing a hangover. Yes, we were during on TUESDAY night (Whatonearth). Ed & Sher came for the Lee Hwa event at the Jewel pavilion and we were drinking on empty stomachs. I wasn't on duty so I had the luxury of leaving as and when I want. After the show, we left and had dinner & MORE DRINKS! It was a fun, CRAZEEEEE night, I tell you.

Don't try cooking when you're tipsy. Don't. I hope the neighbours don't complain about eerie screams last night. We played Twister and Chinaman and drank too much (for a weekday).

Yeap, so all of that led to me jumping out of bed at 9:20am (I'm supposed to be in the office at 9:30), me forgetting my handphone (I went back for it) and missing my bus cuz I was on the phone with Nadia and the bus whizzed past me. And also... I FREAKING FORGOT TO BRING MY MAKEUP POUCH!!!!! My Autumn/Winter event is tonight and I have no makeup. Just great. I don't know what to do anymore. Somebody, anybody, HELP!! Of all days, I left it at home today!! ARRGH!!!!!

Ok, I'm depressed enough.

Yesterday, my boss said she needed my help... and... I got myself involved in another event!! haha :) It's the Jewellery Time at Paragon.. super duper nice watches!! So tomorrow, I'll be attending the press conference and opening night of JT!! Wheee~ I'm so excited!!

I'm totally shagged - I'm even working weekends for the Singapore Jewel Fest. Today's supposed to be my off day but me being me (nice, that is), decided to take over Nic's shift cuz he's got something on. Shagged, I am, but I'm loving every single bit of it.

We had the Preview on the 23rd. After Nic changed into his outfit for that night, he walked towards us flashing his boyish, I-know-I-look-good smile. We were all dressed up and rushing around preparing for the event. During the event, I ate, drank, mingled with the people while standing on duty in my snuggly corner of the pavilion. Slacking? No. Multitasking, I'd call it. :) I think we all looked our best that night... We just forgot to take pictures! What a pity.

We ended our opening day of the jewel fest with a Spring/Summer cocktail party. Did the same ol' rushing about, eating and drinking doubly the amount the previous night. We had a runway show featuring some of the jewellery, and the Mouawad Fantasy Bra set stole the show. That bra-thong-garter set costs more than $4mil. It made jaws drop, mine did. I drank so much I was basically floating around, trying not to screw up. I remember talking to ...... hmm, a guy as we had a drink together - the longest conversation we've ever had, but I was prolly babbling a whole lotta crap. Darnnit. Received some compliments, but the one that made me really, really happy was when Liz commented on my capabilities. I didn't see that coming at all.

This whole thing is freaking tiring, but the satisfaction after the event is really undescribable. I think that's why people are in this line - for the satisfaction after slogging their guts out. Fyi, they've been planning for this jewel fest for almost a year, a month after 2007 Jewel Fest ended.

The next private event is the opening of the Autumn/Winter collection on Wednesday. Another round of partying! woooo!!

We went down to Ngee Ann City to have a peek of the pavilion after work. It looks amazing, even though it wasn't completed then. Tomorrow (or rather, later today) is the Preview event and everyone's gonna go crazy. Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter events will be worse, I know. The next 11 days are gonna be long and tiring.

Just did my nails and waiting for it to dry while preparing for tomorrow. I'll be screwed if I forget to bring my makeup or shoes. I better not forget. Remember, Michelle, remember.

Sleep deprived and wanting to complete watching the 2nd season of Psych, I've been falling asleep on the couch the past few nights, then waking up in the middle of the night and stumble into my bedroom.

I survived Thursday with 2 hours of sleep. After work on Wednesday, I met my girlies at Sushi Teh and did some catching up/gossiping. After that... ZOUK!! Haven't been there for the longest time and people around me have been tempting me so much. I can't resist temptations. I just can't! I'm weak. haha. We were all very tired and only planned to stay for a while, but we stayed till the lights came on at 4! By the time Kenneth sent the rest of them home, we were starving. Thank goodness for the 24-hour coffeeshop in our neighbourhood. Filled our tummies and chatted a little before heading home to bathe. By that time, it was 6 in the morning. I forced myself to sleep and a few hours later, I was at the office packing invitations for the Jewel Fest. Nic even commented that I didn't look like someone who only had 2 hours of sleep. But at the end of Thursday, I plonked down and slept like a log.

Now, today.. I'm SUNBURNT!! Mei Ying, Pat, Cal and I met at East Coast for breakfast before cycling in the afternoon sun. We decided that work's torturing our bodies and our bodies are dying for a massage. We went to Katong to recce the massage parlours, but had to wait for hours before our turn. We'll prolly go soooon.

Oh and my butt's all bruised up from being on the bike for so long. My steamboat dinner awaits. ciao~

I was sneezing like mad at work yesterday, and blew my nose so much that the skin around me nose is chafed. My colleague even commented, "Seriously, how many times can a person sneeze?!" It was bad.

Today, I took a day off from work. Still the same ol' sneezy, leaky nose, with the addition of headache and my whole body aches like fug. ARG.

I got paid to watch the 2008 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix!!!

WOOHOOO!!

I got lucky.

It was amazing! The accidents that happened along the stretch of road I was sitting added to the excitement (sorry for the drivers though)! Through the first few laps of the race, I was constantly getting goose pimples! It was so exciting, it's unbelievable! I was so hyped up and was hitting my cousin non-stop (poor guy :p). The track was abit more than 10m in front of me, and the huge screen was right in front of me too!

There were loads of 'ooooh's, 'ahhhh's, 'awwww's when there was any overtaking or accidents, and a final 'booooo' when the live screening got cut off right after the prize presentation. The experience was great, man!

Maybe it's cuz was wearing my favourite shirt today! ^.^v J was luckier.. at Raffles Boulevard Grandstand, but his Kimi's not in the Top 8.

I reached home very quickly. It was packed like sardines everywhere, but when I got onto the train, it was surprisingly empty! Edwin said I should have 'jio'-ed him, and I was giving Casper SMS updates as he was working at T2 (where I was supposed to be). There's always next year, and the year after, and the year after... ... ... =D

I just came back from another fabulous dinner.

I was told that we were going to a Chinese restaurant for dinner(I thought it would be at some cha-chat place). I knew wouldn't have time to wash up after work, but the most I'd put in to dress up for work is to don on a dress. I had on a sundress and slippers, and I had dinner at Conrad Hotel.

I was soooo under-dressed! There was an event beside the Chinese restaurant and the girls, all dressed up and powdering their noses in the toilet, were looking at me funny!! Humph.

Anyway, food was pretty good. But after the $1,500 meal at The Imperial Treasure Restaurant, many dishes failed in comparison.. I mustn't keep comparing to that meal. I shouldn't.

Today's dinner at was to celebrate Uncle Nik's birthday. Or at least that's what it was supposed to be. But we ended up having a cake for my parents' 21st wedding anniversary! My dad's friends planned for it! Geniuses. It was great. =D

The newest member to the group (my dad's clique) even brought her Gu Zhen to the YuHuaXiang room and played a few pieces for us. She even received compliments from the Chinese waitresses. I'm trying to appreciate it. lol.

It's almost 3 in the morning and I don't feel like going to bed yet. It's another Monday, another day of work (or rather non-work).

sigh~ How sad is it?! I dread Sundays like I've never before. They mark the end of the weekends and the start of another week of work. I was having so much fun at work (at DFS) just now, I forgot that I have to work (attachment) later. I didn't even look at the clock! 4 hours flew by so quickly. Tomorrow, 8 hours will crawl by slowly. s-l-o-w-l-y.

I'm sooooo tired. Not like I've been busy at work. The first few days at work was pretty busy - collating and making changes to the media kits. Now that that is all done, we have nothing to do. N-O-T-H-I-N-G!! For the past few days, we basically slacked the entire day!! Read newspaper and blogs, pick up calls, then lunch, then back to reading more blogs and picking up calls. It gets boring. They told us to go for longer breaks, and even let us off earlier than what we're supposed to! They SHOO-ed us away!! haha. Minus them calling us 'minions' and 'children', they're all really nice and funny.

At the end of the day, I still feel very tired, very drained. After all this, I'll be a professional slacker!

It's an events company in Premier Centre. Lizardstorm, a small company, but it's been around for 14 years. And... we interns (Nick, Nadia from Marketing and myself) get to be involved in two upcoming (and concurrent) events - Jewel Fest and Jewellery Time. I think it's gonna be exciting..

BUT! only three days of work and I'm totally exhausted! Tomorrow's another day. *sigh* I like it as much as I hate it. I'm having mixed feelings about this. How am I gonna survive three months of this?

On a random note, I haven't been late for work. In fact, the three days before this weekend, I've been the earliest in my company to arrive! heh. It's quite an achievement for me. =D

How do people survive twenty, thirty years of working in the same company? After three days, I already feel like I've got no social life! Zilch. I miss my friends. :( I miss Starbucks. I miss you, Mary babe (as much as you miss your caramel macchiato)! The only person I see too much of is Nick! ARG. You know he threw a handful of staples (after we unpicked the staples and added info into the media kits) into my top last week?! HAHA. But I'm really glad I have him with me.

Okey dokey, time to sleep... and fifty three more working days to go! HOHOHO!

p/s: The DHL balloon's not gonna be there after this month. It's your last chance to go on it and fly high!!

- J decided to meet up with the group mates for more drinks. So much drinking cuz he said that's his 2nd last night of his social life - ever. lol.
- J, already pretty high, made the 2 of us run to Esplanade. (What's with him and running?!)
- Drank even more with the group mates
- J puked and puked and regretted drinking so much
- Cabbed him back with a hilarious cabbie
- Zonked out

I'm in a wonderful mood, despite screwing up my first exam. Dinner was

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

Well, it'd better be, seeing the price that was paid for it.. Dinner was at The Imperial Teo Chew Kitchen. A month or two back, I had dinner at the Imperial Treasure Nan Bei Restaurant also in Takashimaya which came up to $400+. So I thought it would be $500 max.

Halfway through gobbling up the first dish (cuz it was pretty late, and I was starved), Buddha jump over the wall, I heard the number 980. So, I thought the whole dinner costs $980, total. I was so hungry I couldn't be bothered with anything else that was going on...

Only after dinner, on the way home, I heard... ... The dinner costed a whooping $1,500!!!!! It was the first dish that costs $980! OMG-ness!! Like WHOAAAA!!! I can't believe people actually pay so much for food! Most of the dishes couldn't be more perfect.. other than the frog legs. :S

I'm still in disbelief. I need to sleep off this feeling.

Jia Sheng and I went downstairs for supper?/breakfast? at 3am. Thinking it's 3am and I probably won't see anyone I know, I donned my Chai Chee Sec PE shirt and had my specs on (Who has seen me in specs, raise your hands!). The moment I reached the coffee shop, someone called out to me. I looked around... it was Jayan!

I hadn't seen him around since he migrated to Australia. The last time I saw him was the eve of new year's day, a few years back.. I remember it was at Cineleisure where Jem and his band played. He's now back in Singapore for NS.

So early this morning, he was at the coffee shop drinking with many other Chai Chee guys.. some I don't recognise anymore.. and they saw me at my ugliest! Arg!

One of the better looking guys y'know.. and another one who's put on weight after sec sch. *shakes head*

And while everyone's busy mugging, here I am... thinking of the movies I haven't watched! I wanna watch Hellboy!
